- Voltage converter (multi-sockets are available here – they are 5$. They allow you to plug in you appliance, but do not actually convert voltage. They work, but heating appliances tend to get way too hot)
- Snacks such as granola bars, dried fruit, nuts, etc. (chocolate bars usually melt by the time you unpack!)
- Photocopies of important documents: flights, insurance, passport, identification, bank cards, etc.

* Camping on the Ngorongoro Crater can be quite cold. If this is part of your itinerary pack a coat, hat and warm sleeping bag!
